Definition of cookies
Cookies are small erasable text files that are stored on the user’s computer and allow personalisation of the content provided on the website. These are downloaded from the user’s browser when they first visit our website. When this website is called up again with the same terminal device or browser, the cookie and the information stored in it is either sent back to the respective website that generated it (first party cookie) or sent to another website to which it belongs (third party cookie). This recognises that the website was accessed with the respective browser and changes the display of content with this status. Cookies “remember”, for example, the preferences of users, communicate how users use a page, and in part individually adapt the offers displayed.

For the purpose of carrying out the transmission of messages and providing the services requested by the user, we use the cookies listed below. The data processing activities carried out through the use of cookies are based on our legitimate interests in providing a fully functional website and the services requested by the user, as well as our legitimate interest in constantly improving the website content and adapting it to the needs of the users (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, § 96 para. 3 TKG).
Non-functional cookies
For the purpose of improving our services and our website, to increase user-friendliness, to personalise the services for users of the website by temporarily storing search parameters, as well as for online marketing purposes, we use the cookies listed below. The data processing activities carried out through the use of cookies are based on the explicit consent of the users (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO, § 96 para. 3 TKG).
Website visitors under the age of 14 are requested to obtain the consent of a parent or guardian before sending us data via our website. Without this consent, the provision of data is prohibited. If we nevertheless receive data from persons under the age of 14, we will stop processing this data as soon as we become aware of it.

Matomo
The website uses Matomo, a web analysis service provided by InnoCraft Limited (“Matomo”).
Matomo uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that enable your use of the website to be analyzed (see the previous section).
The information generated by the cookie about the use of the website is transmitted to a server of SPAR Business Services GmbH. The settings ensure that the IP address is anonymized before geolocalization and replaced by a generic IP address before storage.
Matomo will use this information on behalf of the website operator to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Matomo is anonymized and not merged with other data of the website operator.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of the website to their full extent.
You can also (de)activate Matomo by using the “Marketing cookies” or “Statistics cookies” sliders.
